Hi,
I am not sure how you found yourself at my blog, but I am happy that you did. This is the part of my website that I was really looking forward to.
My name is Mary Zimmer. I am the proud owner of Sweet Pea Athletics. Let me tell you a little bit about myself so you can get to know me. Sewing, embroidery, decoration of clothing is seriously my passion!
I started sewing when I was about 4. I am not kidding either. My mom remembers me making barbie doll pants, (well, actually they were for a Dawn Doll, does anyone remember those?) They were yellow felt and I sewed them right to the doll's body. I was so dissapointed in myself for not making them functional! That passion led to a severe fabric store addiction. By the time I was ten years old, I would jump in any car leaving my driveway in hopes of making our way to the fabric store. There I could walk the aisles and run my hands over all of the textures and colors.
I am sticking a picture of me in 8th grade when I finally got sick of trying to make ideas up and asked my mom for a pattern and some fabric. I made two of these jumpsuits in one night. Right at the dining room table with Mom's old Kenmore. That was only the beginning!
Please check back often as I complete this story and tell you of more stories about being a mom, a seamstress, a business woman, and a Christian!
Thanks for peeking!

Ok, so when are you going to get volleyball stuff? I have lots of great ideas, we need to get going on it, maybe after you get back from California, and the kids get into their routines.
Wow, this is really going along. You have touched so many lives with your wonderful talent! Thanks for all you do.
God Bless
